Burgers by Wildwich, a Delaware food truck, caught on fire and was destroyed recently. The fire was likely caused by the lithium-ion batteries which likely could have sparked while charging on solar power, according to a report by Delaware Online.
Owner Mike Stanley said this isn’t the first problem he’s had with his food truck. At one point, his truck was stolen in a Wilmington, Delaware parking lot and another truck had been destroyed by a drunk driver.
Stanley said he plans to build a new food truck soon and is also working on opening a physical location in Claymont, Delaware.
