North Carolina food truck stolen following Helene damage


A thief stole a food truck in Buncombe County, North Carolina and police are currently on the lookout for the suspect. The truck, owned by the Deli Volv business, was damaged during Hurricane Helene, leaving water marks on its side, according to a report by WYFF4.

Matt Marshall of the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office said the trailer was large and would have required special equipment to take it away.

The truck and the equipment inside were worth more than $100,000. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective M.W. Hutchinson at 828-250-4494.
