Check out this video of Steffen Marin, co-owner of Heirloom chatting about his entrepreneurial journey and how the two Heirloom food trucks (and counting!) are an asset for his Toronto-based catering business.
Even when Steffen was attending Fanshawe culinary school, he always knew he wanted to have a food truck. Starting a mobile food truck allowed Steffen to get his business off the ground for relatively low start-up costs. Three food trucks and a massive commercial kitchen later, he runs a thriving catering business with his partner Ami. Heirloom focuses on ethically sourced, local ingredients to create from scratch menu items. They are also the original purveyors of the cheesecake on a stick. They currently operate one “savoury” food truck, and another food truck dedicated to sweets. You can find them at all sorts of events throughout Toronto, or hire them for private catering.
We love watching Heirloom’s journey and are excited to see what they come up with next!
