When a prospective client approaches drive, we insist on having a client discovery meeting. This is because most are needing help to solve a problem, and as soon as we have an initial discussion, we are invested in trying to solve their problems.
The important issue from the start is making sure we understand exactly what their problems are.
This is where our discovery meeting, whether it be in person or online, is always a structured meeting.
We frame the meeting to get a true insight of the required project outcome, by asking questions and really listening to the answers.
And by listening, I don’t mean we use the time to think about what we can say next.
Any solution or reply to the points raised, should be considered over time, and may even only be correctly answered at the project kick-off meeting or during the project itself.
We believe that by having the client discovery meeting, understanding the problem fully and using our creativity to make sure the design solutions look great and can be produced, we be build long lasting relationships.
