On November 5th Brandon Police Service High School Resource Officer received a report about an in individual with a weapon in the vicinity of the school. BPS attended to the school and two individuals causing concern, a 14-year-old male and a 14-year-old female, were detained in the vicinity of the school. Noone was harmed. Both youths are currently subject of an Undertaking and each breached a respective condition.
The two youth were held in custody and will attend court in the morning on November 6th, 2024.
Male Charges: Utter Threats / Possession of a Weapon / Carrying Concealed Weapon / Failure to Comply with Undertaking
Female Charges: Possession of a Weapon / Carrying Concealed Weapon / Failure to Comply with Undertaking
