What charger should I use for LiFePO4 battery?

It is always important to match your charger to deliver the correct current and voltage, For a complete charge of a 12V LiFePO4 battery, a charger with a voltage ranging from 14V to 14.6V is necessary. If a charger with a lower voltage is used, it can still charge the battery, but it won’t reach full 100% capacity.

What batteries does this lithium charger work with?

Our Lithium Chargers has been optimized for use with our lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4 or LFP). Not recommended for charging lead-acid or SLA batteries.

How fast will my battery charge?

Our Charger at a rate of 20 amps. To determine your charging speed take the amp hour rating of your battery and divide by 20. For example, a 54 amp hour battery (Ah) would charge in 2.5 hours.

At what temperatures can I charge?

LiFePO4 batteries can be charged in environments up to 113°F but should not be charged in direct sunlight above 90°F. Charging lithium iron phosphate batteries below 32°F not only makes your batteries unsafe, but it also will drastically and permanently reduce the capacity.
