The inverter is not a battery backup it is a conduit from the car battery to your electronic devices. This power inverter comes with a car cigarette lighter plug and a pair of alligator battery clamps, very convenient indeed for plugging into car’s cigarette lighter port or connect it to your car battery directly, And easily changed by unscrewing terminals with fingers.
